Task
Conception and design for a new Game Website including a community, which shows boardgames from a modern perspective. Principal is Fachgruppe Spiel, a coalition of 16 games-publishers, whose main aim is to promote the zest for boardgames, especially among young people.
Approach
- To present boardgames in an exciting and cool way
- To respond to a young target group, which includes not only game fanatics (target group is 18-29 year-olds)
- A website, which is based on three columns: magazine, game-recommendation and community

Solution
- a visually attractive and clear design, which offers the accurate place for the products presented
- installation of an editorial staff, consisting of five editors, which presents topics referring to Games and agitate as idetification-figures for a more personal approach to the topic
- involvement of prominents, to open up and popularize the act of gaming to an increasing public habit
- enrichment of the game-topics through the mixture with Lifestyle-topics
- technically high-quality editorial tool, which enables the editorial staff as well as users to input own articles and games
- password-protected user area
- rating-tool, through which users can regenerateand edit the contents of game-advices
